New Works Initiative
DEVELOPMENT OF NEW MUSICALS
MMTL promotes the development of musical theater creative teams and individuals who illustrate the potential for exceptional artistic achievement. We provide support and guidance, nurturing their creative ideas as they build their work. This includes the infrastructure to workshop and produce the work in multiple phases.
We also aim to provide resources, personnel, and industry support for creators to take their specific projects to the next level.
MMTL aims to realize this support through a multi phase development process over 2 – 3 years. Select works will be given the opportunity to develop through a multi-year commitment from MMTL.
