Fiscal Sponsorship
the objective
With the goal of enabling creators to more easily develop their work, MMTL will make available our financial, administrative and digital infrastructure to musical theatre makers in the earliest phase of their project’s developmental process.
PROGRAM OUTLINE
Program DESCRIPTION
Fiscal sponsorship is a relationship between a 501c3 nonprofit organization (MMTL) and a writer and/or independent producer. This relationship provides financial oversight and tools as well as other administrative services to help theatre makers more easily facilitate their early developmental phases.
Program Costs for Creators
Sponsored projects pay an administrative fee—a percentage of all donations processed—to The Manhattan Musical Theatre Lab Inc. The current fee is set at 3.5% of gross donations.
