Presents: MARISOL: THE MAIL-ORDER COUNTRY MUSIC STAR

MARISOL: THE MAIL-ORDER COUNTRY MUSIC STAR is a musical comedy about a young woman from the Philippines who longs to become an American-style country music artist.  Since few people in the Philippines share her love of the genre, Marisol decides to move to Nashville – as a mail-order bride. But when she arrives, she finds herself facing both an unwelcoming fiancé and a culture that narrowly defines what a country music star can be. With the clock ticking on her 90-day visa, Marisol resolves to overcome her fish-out-of-water status, climb her way to the top of country music stardom, and possibly find true love – all before her time runs out!
